Our story

We built the app we
desperately needed

In 2024, our founder Deepankar was on his third failed attempt at losing weight. He had tried every popular app. None of them understood that he cooked for a family of 4, ate 9 different regional cuisines, and celebrated 20 festivals a year. So he built his own.

The problem we solved

"No app ever asked me how many people I cook for."

This was Deepankar's exact frustration. Every app assumed he ate alone, ordered in, or had time to cook a separate diet meal for himself while his family ate normally.

The real problem wasn't calories โ€” it was that he always cooked too much. Leftovers sat on the dining table and got eaten. That's not a willpower failure. That's a logistics failure.

The first version of NutriTrack was a Google spreadsheet that calculated exactly how many grams of rajma to cook for 4 people. It worked. In the first month, Deepankar lost 2.2 kg. His wife saved โ‚น3,200 on groceries.

Deepankar's journey
Starting weight102 kg
After 3 failed apps96 kg (โ€“6 in 2 yrs)
After 6 months on NutriTrack80 kg (โ€“16 in 6 mo)
Today74 kg ยท maintaining
๐Ÿ’ก The insight: He lost 16 kg in 6 months using the same food his family ate โ€” just the right amount of it. That's the app.

What we believe

Our 6 design principles

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ
Indian-first, always
We will never ask you to eat quinoa or avocado toast. Every feature is built for Indian kitchens, Indian festivals, Indian families, and Indian budgets.
๐Ÿ“
Structure over motivation
Diets fail because of logistics, not willpower. Our job is to remove friction โ€” pre-calculate everything, pre-portion everything, leave nothing to chance.
๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘ง
The family is one unit
You can't diet in isolation in an Indian home. The cook cooks once, for everyone. Our plans account for this reality โ€” not fight against it.
๐ŸŽŠ
Festivals are non-negotiable
An app that breaks during Diwali is useless. We designed festival mode because we believe your culture is not an obstacle to health โ€” it's part of it.
๐Ÿ“Š
Honest numbers, always
We will never show you misleading progress metrics or manufactured motivation. If a day was bad, we say so โ€” and tell you exactly what to do next.
๐Ÿ’ฐ
Affordable for every family
The app costs โ‚น499/month and saves โ‚น3,540/month. We designed it this way deliberately โ€” health should not be a luxury.
